General Purpose Squirrel Cage Motors
EMM series general purpose three phase squirrel cage motors are manufactured to High Efficiency (EFF 2) and starting torque coupled with standard features such as : protection degree in IP55, insulation class F, TEFC (totally enclose fan cool), low noise (test at load), optimized structure and artistic outline. The EMM general purpose motors comes in both aluminium frames (56-180) and cast iron frames (71-500).
It’s cooling method is IC411 and the rated output and mounting dimension fully conformed to the IEC standard and DIN 42673. The EMM series cast iron motors are suitable for driving various kinds of machines or equipment’s without special requirements. They are rated at 380-415V, 50Hz, Y-connection for motors up to 3kw, Δ-connection for 4kw and above. The S1 duty operating condition is not more than 40°C ambient temperature and not exceeding 1,000 meters height above sea level. All bearings installed in our motors are either SKF, FAG, NSK or NTN.
TEAO Motors
The EMM general purpose motors also comes in three phase TEAO (Totally Enclosed Air Over) standard upon request. All the other standard characteristics of the standard motors can also be found in our TEAO motors series such as the EFF 2, IP55, etc. As usual, the aluminium casing starts from frame 56-180 and cast iron from frames 71-500.
The EMM TEAO series is used for general purpose applications in machines and mainly in fans.
Slip Ring
The EMR Series Slip Ring three phase induction motors is used primarily to start a high inertia load or a load that requires a very high starting torque across the full speed range. High Temp Resistant/Class H Motors
High Temperature Resistant / Class H Motors are specially designed for demanding and critical applications, such as fire emergencies in built-up areas. These motors play a life-saving role in the swift extraction and clearance of smoke and toxic fumes at high temperatures during emergencies to reduce casualties as well as facilitate the rescue operations. These motors are compliant to BS 7346 : Part 2 : 1990 "Specifications for powered smoke and heat exhaust ventilators." The efficency of WY-YH motors reach the IE1 standard.
The EMM Class H motors are equipped with high temperature resistant bearing, high temperature resistant grease as well as high temperature resistant copper winding. The High Temperature Resistant motors have been tested and certified to run for two hours at 300°C and 400°C. Contact us for the certifications if required.
High Efficiency
The EM1 series (EFF 1) of motors are designed and manufactured in three phase, high efficiency asynchronous motor with IEC frame size from 63 to 355. It is designed to meet or exceed the requirements for energy efficiency such as: European IE2, Australia (Level 1B), Cemep-eu (Eff 1), SS530 and GB18613-2006.
The EM1 series is used in various industries such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, cement and paper production, especially for long-duration and high-capacity operations, including fans, pumps, compressors, etc
Single Phase
The EMJY and EMJL series motors are Single Phase aluminium motor.
- EMJY : Capacitor Run Series
- EMJL : Dual Capacitor Series
EMJL series comes with centrifugal switch, which are suitable for high starting torque application such as air compressors.
EMJY series on the other hand is used mainly for low starting torque application such as fans and pumps.
In general single phase motors are suitable for driving small types of machine tools such as water pumps, etc. They are especially suitable for family workshops where only single-phase current supply is available.
Ex Proof
EMX Series three phase explosion proof motors are uniquely designed to contain the sparks within the motor to prevent ignition of external combustible vapours.
The explosion proof characteristic enables the motor to be safely used in hazardous locations.
